Community High’s first outdoor public mural. Painted primarily by students in 2022 as a part of a dynamic collaboration and partnership with Wonderfool Productions. Designed by youth artist Felix McKenna (@felix_the_frog). Made possible by a generous grant from Michigan Arts & Culture Council.

This mural was designed and painted by multilingual fourth to eighth grade students in the 2017 Students of the Summer English as a Second Language Academy in collaboration with Tree Town Murals, teachers, and UM interns.

Mary has worked as the Visual Arts Coordinator for the Neutral Zone Teen Center for almost two years. In that time she has partnered with the Neutral Zone to provide mentorship to youth, community engagement, and educational outreach.

TTM worked within 3 Michigan counties, Washtenaw, Monroe, and Livingston at the juvenile detention and residential treatment facilities to help produce 3 successful mural projects.

TTM was invited to facilitate a school wide participatory mural project. Most of the student population, staff, and parents were invited to weigh in. The result is what you see!
